Tanya Long is a Cleveland area artist with a focus on ceramic sculpture and design. She has been working with ceramics for fifteen years, receiving her MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan and her BFA from Pratt Institute in New York. Every aspect of the design and crafting of each object is completed by her from start to finish in her studio in Lakewood, Ohio. Her functional home decor and jewelry items are made from durable stoneware and porcelain clays and She formulates all of her own glazes. Her goal with every piece is to create thoughtfully designed, skillfully handcrafted objects for everyday joy. When she is not designing and making objects for the home, she spends her time making and showing ceramic sculpture.
